Chris was born and raised in Memphis, TN, has a wonderful and strong family with 2 older brothers and stable, loving parents.
He grew up playing sports, really focusing on wrestling and football throughout high school, was the light of every friend group that he was a part of throughout school and the grounding force (or caboose) in his family unit (pretty safe to say this rings true today).
He went to The University of Alabama for college, where we met, and I can say without a shadow of a doubt had the best experience that shaped him to who he is today. He majored in hospitality, was a member of a fraternity and involved in everything he did and continued to be that “light” to those that were lucky enough to know him.
After college, Chris got a job in Georgia, lucky for Devon as that was her home state, and really never looked back. He is FILLED with passion, drive, commitment, and a love that I can’t even begin to explain. He ALWAYS puts our family first and does everything he can to make sure we are taken care of.
Chris loves BIG, supports you, no matter what, and pushes you to be the best version of yourself.
He truly is one of the most incredible people that I know (I know I’m biased here), but he really is beyond anything I could have dreamed of. It’s easy to say that he has the biggest heart of anyone I have ever met (and has from the very start) with a genuine love for everyone that he gets to know. He has never met a stranger (I often joke that he could get a tree to talk back to him), can make you feel like you have been a friend of his for years and genuinely cares what you have to say.
Hard-working, trustworthy, empathetic, kind, passionate, loving, authentic, carefree, has an incredible sense of humor are just a few of the many qualities that are said about him. He has a knack for caring for, entertaining, and bringing people together, it’s what makes him tick, and it’s what made me know that I wanted to share our life together. He is passionate about everything that he does and shows it in the most amazing ways.
Chris is the most incredible dad, husband, friend I could have imagined being my partner in life. He is the glue that holds us together, the caboose in our own family unit and we are thankful for such a solid foundation in our family.
