Let me tell you all about Devon, the beautiful mama of this family. She loves fiercely, is impossibly creative, and passionate about everything she puts her mind to. She is my amazing partner in this wonderful life that we have built and I couldn’t imagine a single day without her by my side.

Devon was born and raised in Atlanta, GA, a true “Atlanta Native”, as they say. She is surrounded by an incredible, loving and tight-knit family with 2 younger brothers and hard-working parents.

Devon is eldest child with 2 younger brothers, so from an early age she has without a doubt been the person to take charge and blaze the trail for others to follow. Growing up, she spent her many of her years in the dance studio as she was an accomplished ballerina among other dance disciplines. When Devon managed to have time away from the studio, she was able to travel all over the country with her grandmother. Just like myself, Devon attended The University of Alabama where she had earned a scholarship to be in their renowned dance program. Devon ended up double majoring in Dance and Hospitality Management with a primary focus in event planning which she has pursued a career in.

Throughout the life we have built, Devon is always thinking of others, making sure everything is planned out, and we are always taking time to enjoy the experiences and the moments that make life worth living. She was born to be a leader and she is without a doubt the train engine to my caboose, we would be lost in this world without her.

Devon is strong, beautiful, dependable, thoughtful, and has a fiery love for her family and friends that is difficult to even put into words.

Anyone that is within Devon’s inner circle should consider themselves lucky as they will never find someone that loves as hard or will go to bat for them like she does. Devon is an extremely passionate and dedicated friend and partner. She continues to amaze and inspire me each and every day with how she exemplifies her affection and devotion to our family and friends.

Watching Devon become a mother to Jackson is something that I will never forget as it has truly brought out every attribute about her that I fell in love with. She is so patient with Jackson and is always his protector no matter what he may be facing. Her selfless nature is constantly on display as his needs are put ahead of her own to ensure that above all else our son knows he is loved and cared for.

There truly are not enough things for me to say about Devon to describe what she means to me and to our family. She is our North Star, our safe harbor from the storms of life, and is always there with a warm smile and a hug that fills your soul. Devon is my person and someone that I can’t wait to see be a mother to another precious child as we embark on this journey to grow our family.
